Frank Lampard Could Take the Reins at Chelsea

Chelsea are close to appointing Frank Lampard as interim manager until the end of the season. Lampard would manage Chelsea for the remaining nine games and the two legs against Real Madrid. The West London club are close to an agreement with Lampard which would see Mason Mount right back in the starting lineup. The search for Chelsea’s new head coach is being led by Lauren Stewart and Paul Winstanley. Reports suggest Frank Lampard could be in in time to play Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Lampard was brought back in to make a positive feeling at Stamford Bridge again. Now, no one, like you know, remembers it was pretty toxic under Maurizio Sarri at times. Chelsea are 11th in the Premier League and, of course, we play Real Madrid.
Mason Mount signs contract extension. It’s likely that he’ll stick with the back three, along with Frank Lampard. Chilwell and Reece James will also continue to play. Overall, it makes sense and in a unique way, it’s exciting.
